We have recently stocked 100 carp and 1200 chub into the canal around Titanic Mill. There are 500 bream coming too when the water temp has dropped sufficiantly for them to be healthy after transferal. This has been acheived by monies supplied from the organised matches held in the last 12 months by our match sec. and a donation from the club voted in by the committee. The carp and chub are small but in large numbers will show in the next 2-5 years in better size and do well for the future of the canal matches. The bream are a bit bigger and will hopefully show straight away.

The club now as the lease for the whole of the canal from Lockeepers all the way up to Bridge 61 which is the bridge that carries the railway over the canal at Marsden.
