Slaithwaite and District Angling Club is based

              In Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Established in 1884, Slaithwaite and District

Angling Club are Members of the

Angling Trust and Fish Legal,

The Yorkshire Fisheries Consultative Association 

and the Wild Trout trust

Current Membership of the Club is

approximately 450 anglers

The Club holds the fishing rights on numerous

waters including several reservoirs ponds and

Dams, The Huddersfield Narrow Canal from

Marsden to Milnsbridge and 

Trout and Grayling fishing on the Rivers Colne and Holme 

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SCOUTING EVENT BEING HELD ON SPARTH  RESERVOIR, MARSDEN  ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY JULY 2nd and 3rd 2016

 
THE RESERVOIR WILL BE CLOSED TO FISHING FOR THESE TWO DAYS.

At the AGM it was proposed and carried that members would be permitted to fish a maximum of three rods at Hill Top Reservoir. ONLY! For a member to be able to do this, he will have to be in possession of, TWO ENVIRONMENT AGENCY ROD LICENCES. You must also have purchased  TWO  second rod permits of the appropriate category.
