{"id":202,"date":"2019-02-20T14:24:24","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T14:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slaithwaitedistrictanglingclub.org\/sadac\/?page_id=202"},"modified":"2026-04-25T17:27:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T16:27:45","slug":"hopton-water-upper-hopton","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.slaithwaitedistrictanglingclub.org\/sadac\/?page_id=202","title":{"rendered":"Hopton Water, Upper Hopton"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This water which used to be run as a commercial fishery&nbsp;has now been leased by Slaithwaite and District Angling Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Premium ticket has to be purchased by members to be able to fish this water at a cost of \u00a317 per annum for Adult and Concessionary members and \u00a38.50 for junior members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water can also be fished on our standard day ticket, available at a cost of \u00a36 from the outlets listed under DAY TICKETS, the nearest being the COSTCUTTER Store in KIRKHEATON, just down the hill from the traffic lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water contains a variety of different fish including Roach, Perch, Bream, Ide, Tench, Rudd, Crucian Carp, Mirror Carp, Common Carp and Catfish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that entry to Hopton Water is not permitted before 7.00 am on any day and must cease fishing by 9.00 pm (at the latest) or dusk (if earlier) and have left the site by 10.oo pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BE AWARE THAT THERE IS AN ELECTRIC FENCE BETWEEN THE POND AND THE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE.
