{"id":148,"date":"2019-01-27T16:42:17","date_gmt":"2019-01-27T16:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.slaithwaitedistrictanglingclub.org\/sadac\/?page_id=148"},"modified":"2022-11-28T10:07:24","modified_gmt":"2022-11-28T10:07:24","slug":"lock-11-to-lock-20","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.slaithwaitedistrictanglingclub.org\/sadac\/?page_id=148","title":{"rendered":"Lock 11 to Lock 20"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The various stretches of the canal in this area &nbsp;are known by the following names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Locks:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Name:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">11 to 12:Lock-keepers or Leitch&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">12 to 13:John Lockwoods (Swing Bridge or Aqueduct)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">13 to 14:Ramsden Mill Pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">14 to 15:Appleyards<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">15 to 16:Rabbit Pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">16 to 17:Reed Pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">17 to 18:Cotton&#8217;s length<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">18 to 19:Bucket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">19 to 20:Mickle Pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">20 to 21:Slaithwaite Sewerage Length&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Canal has had many thousands of coarse fish introduced over the years, particularly Roach, Bream, Carp and Chub. The canal also contains Perch, Pike and the odd Tench.
