The club now has a lease from the Canals and Rivers Trust for the fishing rights for the whole of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal from Lock 11 (Leitch’s) all the way up to Tunnel End at Marsden and out the Tunnel at the other side all the way to Lock 14<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section provides information with regard to our fishing on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware that there are some sections of the canal at West Slaithwaite where fishing is prohibited due to the presence of high voltage overhead electricity lines .Please look out for the warning notices and DO NOT fish in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have recently appointed two new bailiffs who will be regularly patrolling the canal towpath. If you are approached by anyone claiming to be a club Bailiff please ask them to show you their Bailiff Card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please treat our club bailiffs with the respect they deserve<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If, for any reason, you are not happy with the way you were approached or treated by any one of our bailiffs, then please let the secretary or Chairman know in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n
